This vessel was inspected by a British Indian Ocean Territory patrol vessel on 11 December 2014. During inspections prohibited fishing gear and tuna like species were found on board hence this vessel was detained but fled to the high seas during escort to port. This vessel was subsequently included in the IOTC IUU list in May 2017. Sources indicate this vessel was operated by Bibi S. R and flagged to India at the time of detainment.
