COMBINED IUU VESSEL LIST

Named TS ELEGANCE, flagged to Equatorial Guinea and owned by TS Shipping Pte Ltd this vessel was included in the IOTC IUU list on 3 June 2005 for operating in the IOTC Convention Area without authorisation and later delisted on 26 May 2006. This vessel held IOTC Licenses from 2004-2012 and operated under the Thailand flag from 2005-2011, then gaining a Belize flag. This vessels owner Pioneer Food Factory Limited (PFC) was ordered to pay $450,000 compensation to Liberia in 2012 due to evidence of unreported fishing activities and licensing irregularities involving 3 vessels under PFC ownership. This vessel, named CAP VERGA at the time, was 1 of 3 vessels operating under a forged Liberian fishing license. Since 2014, this vessel has held ICCAT licenses and operated off the coast of West Africa utilising the ports of Abidjan and Accra under the name ATLANTIC GLORY, ownership of Zhong Gha Foods Co Ltd and operator Africa Star Fisheries Ltd.
