This vessel was included in the IOTC IUU list in May 2015 for operating in the IOTC area without authorisation. In 2013, Thailand informed the IOTC of 12 tuna longliners landing catch in the port of Phuket, Thailand claiming Taiwanese registry. CHI TONG Taiwan licence was revoked in 1995, thus was operating stateless. Taiwan holds no records of this vessel or details of ownership. Current vessel details of this vessel are unknown.
