Listed as WUTAISHAN ANHUI 44 on SEAFO IUU list. The vessel was disclassed April 20th 2012. April 25th it was reported with a new name WUTAISHAN ANHUI 44, flag Tanzania. Subsequently the vessel has been de-flagged by Tanzania. SONGHUA, KUNLUN and YONGDING were sighted by Australian Government aerial surveillance aircraft December 2014. Detected fishing illegally in the CCAMLR area 6 January 2015. Believed to be fishing in conjunction with KUNLUN and YONGDING, which were detected in the same area. An Interpol Purple Notice was issued for this vessel 13 January 2015. Stern marking and information provided by the Master indicate it was flagged to Equatorial Guinea (info not yet confirmed by Equatorial Guinea). Vessel refused boarding and handed over papers - there are questions regarding their authenticity. The vessel was spotted at anchor in Mindelo, Cabo Verde on 20 May 2015, using the name KADEI and flag Sierra Leone, and was subsequently detained by authorities in Cabo Verde.
