This vessel was originally named EGUZKIA whilst Spain flagged and owned. In 1992, this vessel transferred flag to Panama and ownership from Naviera Galdar SA to Tuna Reefer Ltd. This vessel operated under the Panama flag until 2007 when it transferred to Iran. This coincided with a name change to KOOSHA 4 and ownership transfer to Iran based company Pars Paya Seyd Industrial Fishing Co. This vessel was included in the CCAMLR IUU vessel list in November 2011 and the GFCM IUU List in June 2014. Sources suggest this vessel may have altered its identification credentials since 2012. This vessel held authorisation to operate within the IOTC Convention Area between August 2010 to January 2014.
