This vessel was one of 12 longline fishing vessels landing catch at the port of Phuket, Thailand throughout 2013 whilst claiming registry in Taiwan. Taiwan authorities indicated this vessel has never held registry in Taiwan and operated within the IOTC Convention Area without authorisation and falsely claiming the Taiwan flag. Hence this vessel was included in the IOTC IUU in May 2015.
