The vessel was added to the South East Atlantic Fisheries Organization (SEAFO) IUU list in 2017. Since then, it is suspected to have conducted illegal fishing for toothfish in the CCAMLR area. In June 2020 the vessel was boarded on the high seas in the Indian Ocean by an Australian Border Force patrol vessel at position 15°05'01.20" S, 088°28'24.66" E. Bolivian registration documents were provided that were confirmed to be fraudulent, indicating that the vessel was stateless; previous Bolivia registration had expired on the 30 January 2019. The patrol identified both fishing gear and catch on board. Sources indicate the vessel held 17 countries flags stored in its bridge. Vessel reported sold in June 2020 to Somalia based Precision Shipping Services. Vessel reported detained in Yemen with INTERPOL support on 9 October 2020. Toothfish onboard, with reported effort to offload this catch. Captain claimed catch was caught in Puntland and provided copy of Puntland fishing license which Puntland authorities later stated was forged. Vessel soon after claimed registry and ownership to Somali which Somali Maritime Authority confirmed were also invalid claims. Vessels crew were released from detainment in Yemen in September 2021 after detention in Yemen for 1 year.
