This vessel held India flag from 1988-1995 when it reflagged to Panama. First known owner of this vessel is Campopesca SA, who owned the vessel 1996-1998 and 1999-2003, Globe fishers were vessels owner in between these dates. This vessel held Panama and Belize flags during this ownership period until reflagging to Uruguay in 2003 and transferring owner/operator to Spain based Rainbow Fisheries Ltd. This vessel was included in the CCAMLR IUU list on 5 November 2004 under the name MAYA V. A 2006 WWF report describes this vessel as a “well known toothfish poaching vessel”. Vessel reflagged to Panama for 2005-2006 until gaining an unknown flag. Sources associate Credraf Associates SA and Jose Manuel Salgueiro with ownership of this vessel during IUU listing. This vessel was delisted on 7 November 2008 and transferred ownership to an undisclosed interest as well as an unknown flag soon after.
