This vessel was originally named CHEN CHIEH 1 and under ownership of Pi Ching Fishery SA, registered to an unknown flag 2002 to May 2003. Vessel was included in the IATTC IUU list on 26 December 2005 whilst flagged to Georgia. Vessel renamed to MAYA 1 and reflagged to Guatemala in January 2007. Delisted from the IATTC IUU list on 29 June 2007. Vessel later reflagged to Panama and renamed to GILONTAS NO. 380 on 16 May 2008. Vessel held ICCAT licenses and authorisation June 2014 to 2019. Company information is unclear for this vessel. However, sources indicate during period of ICCAT operations, ownership of this vessel was held by Codatlan S.A and Gilontas Ocean Panama S.A. Vessel held IATTC authorisation 2017-2019. Vessel gained IOTC authorisation 2019-2022 and retained ICCAT authorisation after ownership transfer to Global Fisheries (PVT) Company, renamed to WASANA 380 and reflagged to Sri Lanka.
