This vessel was originally Japanese flagged and owned. The vessel transferred flags 3 times in the 1990s all to Central American countries ending with Belize in 1998. On 11 October 2003 and 23 January 2004, this vessel was sighted operating within the CCAMLR convention area without authorisation and subsequently included in the CCAMLR IUU list on 7 November 2003. The vessel had recently undergone numerous name changes from NOEMI to LOME on 1 July 2003, this coincided with a flag transfer from Belize to Togo and ownership change from Infitco Ltd to an undisclosed interest. The vessel then changed names to ICEBERG II in October 2003 followed by AMORINN in January 2004. The vessel was photographed displaying a Spanish flag docked at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria port on 12 October 2007. Included in SEAFO IUU list on 31 October 2007 and GFCM IUU list in June 2014.
