COMBINED IUU VESSEL LIST

This vessel was originally named TIVELA, flagged to Liberia and under ownership of Pythagoras Shipping Corp. Ownership transferred to Interocean TSM Holdings Pte Ltd in August 1997 alongside flag transfer to Panama. This vessel was included in the IOTC IUU list on 3 June 2005 for operating within the Convention Area without authorisation. This vessel was named ETERNITY, flagged to Belize and still under ownership of Interocean TSM Holdings Pte Ltd when included in IOTC IUU list. Soon after listing, this vessel was sold to Thai Deep Sea Fishing Co Ltd and transferred flag to Equatorial Guinea followed by Thailand. This vessel was delisted by the IOTC on 26 May 2006. Pioneer Food Cannery Ltd (PFC) gained ownership of this vessel in August 2007. Liberian authorities instated a $150,000 compensation payment on Pioneer Food Cannery Ltd due to this vessel’s utilisation of a forged Liberian fishing licence and unreported fishing activities carried out by this vessel and companion vessels: CAP VERGA (IMO: 8919403), CAP COZ (IMO: 8919427). In 2017 this vessel was renamed to ATLANTIC PRINCE, sold to Zhong Gha Foods Co Ltd and operated by Africa Star Fisheries Ltd. The IOTC authorised this vessel to operate from 27 July 2006 to 11 March 2012. ICCAT has authorised this vessel to operate in the ICCAT convention Area from 15 January 2014 to 1 July 2021. Sources show this vessel operating in the East Central Atlantic throughout 2021, utilising the ports of Accra and Abidjan.
